Shawna and Justin live in Houston so the entire booking process and prepping for the wedding was mainly done through email and phone but we did get the opportunity to meet a few weeks before the big day for a cup of coffee. We had such a blast talking, time flew by! Justin was so excited and involved in the decisions. They had such a clear vision and the excitement was contagious! Their ceremony was held at Holy Family Cathedral in downtown Tulsa during the early afternoon hours, which allowed some free time between the ceremony and evening reception at German American Society. They decided to rent a trolley for the bridal party and we were able to hop on and follow along. We headed to a local park for some more formal bridal party portraits before heading to Fassler Hall for some cold beverages……it was such a hot day in September! This group was the life of the party and so much fun! Everyone was having such an awesome time the entire day!
After a couple of hours we headed to the reception. Shawna and Justin were blown away by the amazing work done by EB2 Events……the room was stunning!! I have had the pleasure of working with Erin from EB2 Events on a few occasions and she is so talented. It’s always fun seeing her and her team. Party Perfect Rentals helped her bring their vision to life and everyone was so pleased with the outcome. The reception was an incredible party! The food was provided by Ludgers Catering and it was so delicious! And all photographers look forward to wedding cake….it’s just a known fact and Ludger’s Bavarian Cakery provided the gorgeous and yummy wedding cake. See below….such a beautiful cake! LionsRoad kept everyone out on the dance floor all night! Like I said, it was truly an incredible party! You can easily tell Shawna and Justin love life and are truly best friends! They have such a great time together and it was such an honor getting to know them and capture their wedding day.
