Wow!  2015 blew me away!  First and foremost I have to say THANK YOU!  I am so incredibly blessed and thankful for my amazing clients.  All of you made my year more incredible than I ever imagined.  I love the friendships I have made over the years and thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting in me to capture your families year after year.

Compared to 2014 I photographed over double the sessions in 2015.  I met some amazing new clients and loved seeing returning clients as well.  I photographed everything from Fresh 48 hospital sessions, newborns, kiddos, families, seniors and weddings.  I love variety!

I have spent a lot of time reflecting on where I was when I first started this business 3 1/2 years ago and where I am now and it still sometimes feels like a dream.  When I first started this business, I did it because I loved taking pictures, something I have always loved doing.  I am so blown away by my amazing clients and how my love for this profession keeps growing.  My hunger to keep learning and keep challenging myself never stops, it only grows.

Being a wife and mom has always come first and finding a balance can be difficult at times.  I recently stopped and realized how fast time is going and these three blessings of mine are growing and changing so much in just a blink of an eye.  My goal for 2016 is to continue doing what I love with this profession as well as to keep growing and learning new things.  I have one amazing workshop on the calendar in March with Joy Prouty of Wildflowers Photography, which has been a dream of mine!  I am adding more weddings as well, which is exciting!

With that being said, I also plan to cut back on the number of sessions I shoot next year.  My goal is to open up specific dates each quarter and open those to previous clients first, then new inquiries next.  If you would like to be on the mailing list for released dates let me know!  First quarter dates as well as 2016 Pricing will be released in the next two weeks.

I hope to find a better balance between this profession I LOVE and these amazing people I get to call my family.
