We spent a long Labor Day weekend up in Macomb, Illinois visiting my husband’s uncle, his wife Anne and their dogs Moose and Mollie. It was such an easy drive and the boys did great in the car. We had such a great time! I always miss living so close to them!
The circus was in town so we took the boys with Uncle Kelly. It was their first time and all they wanted to see was elephants!
We lounged around and played games.
As well as hide n seek.
Thankful for iPad games!

Saturday Aunt Anne and I took the boys to a neighboring town’s garage sale festival.
Yes we came home with two $2 swords and a $5 Batman.
That evening Jason and I took the boys on the train to another neighboring town so they could finally ride on a real train.

Anne and Kelly picked us up at the station and we stopped for some Mexican food!
Sunday we went to hear Uncle Kelly preach.
Followed by an afternoon at the football field.
Fynn was in heaven. Sutton just wanted to run.
Over the weekend the boys got to learn all about Angry Birds, which I had never seen. They are hooked.
We of course had to take a break and then they brought on the wrestling!
I wanted to snag some pictures of the boys with the beautiful scenery so we went out after dinner to a few local places. People are so nice and some strangers let us use their property. It was so beautiful!
Thanks Uncle Kelly and Aunt Anne for having us!
Can’t wait to see you guys again soon!
